I attended this school for one week in the fall of 2025. This school does the evaluation process a little different from the others I attended. If you are new, you do not take an online test before your first day. Instead, you get to school early and take the test and the conversation evaluation in person on that first Monday. After that, the entire cohort of new students is invited to go on a walking tour of Sanremo which is very fun and nice to see the city immediately and during your school day. When you return from the tour, the 2nd half of the day is split into Italian levels.
LOCATION: Sanremo is on the Italian Ligurian Riviera and it is a beautiful city. It is more modern than a typical tourist town. The school is in a great location with the sea about 2 blocks away. The school is in a large building on the main street with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
SCHOOL: The school day is well organized and enjoyable. The teachers and staff are patient and friendly. The day is spent with one teacher, using workbooks and handouts. Because I was there for such a short time, I did not take part in the afterschool activities but I know they offered a wine tasting tour and other ones.
