Trenitalia — This is the easiest, safest and best way to book your travel. Set up your account, make sure to add a credit card for simple check out and you’ll be ready to go. Pro Tip: Remember, city and station names are in Italian so Firenze not Florence, etc.
Get Your Guide — I have had a ton of success with this platform for finding interesting tours, fun events like pasta making or wine tasting, and more. Check out the GYG in the region you are visiting to see what might be available.
